Highlights of the Top of Town Heritage Trail include St Paul's Anglican Church, former Queensland Times office, Bostock and Colthup Chambers, former Golebys Building, view of St Mary, West Street, old Cribb & Foote Garage, Old Flower Mill, Prince of Wales Hotel, former Baptist Church, Metropole Hotel, Federal Hotel, City View Hotel, Burnett Street houses, including Notnel, Baines Park, Ozanam House, Limestone Street buildings, Penrhyn, Villa Maria, former Technical College, Ipswich City Uniting Church, and d'Arcy Doyle Place.

Building, Keiraville, former Central Congregational Memorial Church, Uniting Church Hall, former Police Station, Ipswich Hospital, Sunshine Ward, Ginn Cottage, Nicholas Street houses, The Chestnuts, Mona Lodge, Lutheran Church, Roderick Street houses, Hilda May house, Brickstone, Carrington Guest House, Chermside and Mayorene, and the Masonic Temple.
