Ipswich Baptist Church
Description
Dates1859 - presentDenominationBaptistHistory
The original Ipswich Baptist Church was formed in 1859. A brick chapel, in Brisbane Street (Top of Town), was consecrated in 1877.
In 2004, the chapel was sold and the congregation relocated to 34A Workshops Road, Brassall, adaptively reusing a former sports club.
The church has since rebranded as Beacon Community: A Baptist Church.
