DescriptionThe open day held at Ipswich Civic Centre on Sunday 19th July 2025, was part of hte " Heart and Soul: Celebrating 40 years of the Ipswich Civic Centre".
The event included buskers, roving performers, and community performances. A Performing Arts Expo for budding performing artists was provided to give them the opportunity to explore the many dance studios, theatre companies, choirs and higher education institutions available in Ipswich and surrounds.
Exhibits of memorabilia and photos from 40 years of performances were on display and a behind-the-scenes guided tour was offered to visitors.
Festivities, which were held between 10:00am and 2:00pm, concluded with a community choral event in the auditorium with everyone invited to participate.
