DescriptionCustomers filling up with petrol at the Blue Star Service Station. Cecil Dorman opened the business in March 1954 on the same day that Queen Elizabeth II came to Brisbane. There was no electricity and petrol was pumped by hand. The family left the business in 1978. Sign in foreground reads: 'First Mobilgas Brisbane Prices'.
