AddBy: Melanie Rush26th Jul 2021 10:57AMAccording to the family story, my great-great grandmother, who lived in Green Street, was gored by a bull as she was crossing Cameron Park. She was carrying her baby, Tommy, and managed to get him over the fence to safety. She died two years later from her injuries. Her three children were raised by their father, Frederick Thayer, and maternal grandmother (Ainsworth).
