DescriptionBenjamin Gilmore Patterson was a teacher of geography at the Ipswich Grammar School from 1926-1934. Mr Patterson was also heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of Ipswich. He left his role as school master in May 1934 to take up a position at the Mount Morgan gold mine. At a special presentation Mr Patterson was awarded with the complete works of Stanley Weyman and an album of photographs of the staff and pupils of the Grammar School.References (offline)Queensland Times, 19-05-1934
