DescriptionEllen was born in April 1843 in Dudley, Staffordshire, United Kingdom. She was the daughter of James William Jude and Susan (nee Sharp).

The Jude Family migrated to Australia on the "General Hewitt" on the 5th December 1854.

Ellen Jude married John Wheeler Boatwright on 29th August 1864 in the Penrith Municipality, New South Wales. The witnesses at the wedding were Charles Peachey and his wife Elizabeth (nee Jude).

Ellen and John Wheeler Boatwright later settled in Ipswich.

Ellen died on 9th March 1912 in Ipswich, Queensland and she was buried in the Church of England Section of the Ipswich General Cemetery.
