DescriptionView of Queens Park rose garden near the fern house. Queens Park was the first park to be developed in Queensland, being first surveyed by Henry Wade in 1842. In his design, Wade had set aside 80 acres and 32 perches for a reserve for Public Recreation and Botanic Gardens. The park was named after Queen Victoria.
