DescriptionAt the time of this Study this area was part of Redbank. The Westfalen Colliery was started by August Kathage at Thagoona (Westfalen No. 1). From 1944, the No. 2 Mine was located at Dinmore. In 1974 the mine was flooded. Work commenced at the Westfalen Mine No. 3, Collingwood Park in 1967 and continued until 1987.
