DescriptionMilton was a contestant in Dick Fair's 'Australian Amateur Hour' that was held at the Wintergarden Theatre in East Street. He was a country singer who performed 'I've got a love knot in my lariat'. Milton was also part of the group, the Teviotville Twelve who won the competition. The line for the auditions went from the top of Brisbane Street, where the auditions were held, and to below East Street, with only 10 acts being accepted. Radio 4IP and 4BK broadcasted the program.
