DescriptionErnest was president of the Ipswich Bowls Club in 1945. Ernest was the second son of Frederick Johnson and Sarah Ann Catlow. E. B. would take over the family business of F. W. Johnson Coach Works with his brother, William, in 1920. It would become F. W. Johnson & Sons City Motor Works in the Old Flour Mill, Brisbane Street, in 1926.
