His work spans the ABC, Channel Nine, Queensland Theatre Company, Queensland Arts Council, Arts Queensland and his own companies. He was also Assistant Director of London’s Royal Court Theatre.

Throughout his career, he played many pivotal roles in the entertainment industry and was acknowledged as a Member of the Order of Australia in 2008 for his significant service to the performing arts and community.
