Chasing Our Past At Home

Chasing Our Past has been a long running Ipswich Libraries program.  Speakers have included local and family historians, academics, home and business owners, museum curators, architects, and others.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, and South-East Queensland's first lockdown in 2020, the program was rebranded Chasing Our Past At Home.  Presented over Zoom, the program was able to expand to include inter-state and international presenters.  Online talks also meant that people from across Queensland and Australia could also participate and the Library was able to record the talks to make available on Picture Ipswich.

As the pandemic subsided, and Ipswich Libraries returned to in-person programming, Chasing Our Past talks continued to be recorded and shared on Picture Ipswich.
