DescriptionIn 1953, Radio Station 4IP helped to raise £681 (equivalent of $27,091.03 in 2022) for Legacy. In 1954, Legacy was attempting to raise £835,000 ($32,706,307 in 2022).
Announcers Frank Daly, J. Thornton, J Duncan and Miss B. Mathieson ran the appeal from 8am to 10:30pm on 16th April 1954.
