By: Tanya Jen17th May 2021 3:39PMMy first job was working at Miser Jones in Nicholas Street from 1979 to 1982. This was a former bank building and we stored boxes in the old vault in the basement. To go to the bathrooms we had to walk up a set of what we thought of at the time as being very rickety old timber stairs. When it was dark this was a little scary for the women who worked in the building.

At lunch time we used to go next store to Coles for their well-know hot chips.
