Frank Hoare opened his new furniture shop at 60 East Street, Ipswich (close to the Wintergarden Theatre) on Saturday 30 October 1937. The shop sold furniture, carpets and stoves.
The business continued to trade in the same location until at least December 1954.
Herbert Hoare (his father?) had a furniture store and auctioneer's office at 52 East Street from about 1912 to 1954.
