Description

DescriptionAlexander McConechy Scott started the foundry in 1912, supplying castings for mines and pipes for Council work. After World War II, it sold to Queensland Industries and then Hadfields Steelworks. The company manufactured the 64 steel girders used on the David Trumpy Bridge.
