- Describe where you live (suburb or city) and who was here before you

The first School Resource created for Ipswich City Council was The Ipswich Heritage Education Kit, written by historian Robyn Buchanan for primary and secondary school teachers. This kit provided background information for teachers, primary source material such as photographs and documents, pioneer reminiscences and suggestions for worksheets and activities.
In 2018, three Children's Heritage Trails were created for younger children to awaken their interest in the history of the City by following Sienna and George. Holding a magical red balloon, Sienna travels back to 1896, meeting a young boy called George. Together they discover the history of Ipswich's City Centre, the suburb of Woodend, and the Bremer River.
In 2020, Sienna and George found themselves on the cover of a series of National Curriculum aligned activity sheets designed for primary school students, exploring family, places, events, employment, and Ipswich’s diverse community for students in Prep to year 5.
