DescriptionThe publication ‘The Mechanical Eye in Australia: Photography 1941-1900’ (OUP Press, Melbourne, 1985) has Poochee in Bell Street, Ipswich in 1863, again in Ipswich in 1867, and Brisbane Street, Ipswich from 1874 to 1878. This is an image of a man (maybe a Mr Laughton or a Mr Reid). Reverse of the photograph is stamped with the photographer Biggingee Sorabjee Pochee (Poochee) trademark, is believed to have been taken between 1874 to 1878.
