DescriptionBanquet held at Whitehouse Café, on 6 august 1953, to farewell the State Government Insurance Office, Ipswich, manager J T Tierney, who had been promoted to branch inspector. (See Trove for article in Queensland Times 8 August 1953, with a description of the entertainment etc.) The Whitehouse Café was on Nicholas Street near the Ipswich Railway Station. Ailsa was an employee with the SGIO for 40 years.
