DescriptionImage in 'Book of Views' published by Macfarlane & Sons to celebrate the Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887. This lithograph is part of a series that was believed to be commissioned by Macfarlanes from the original photographs and processed overseas. This original railway station, between Nicholas and Ellenborough Streets, was built in 1865. A new one was built in 1887, with a new one being planned for Darling Street in 1918. It never eventuated and the station remained the same until the mid 1980s.
