DescriptionJ.M. Marsh opened Marsh Motors in the late 1920s in the Electric Light Buildings, Brisbane Street. In February 1928, the showroom moved into the newly built Walker’s Building in Bell Street. On the left is the 21st Anniversary edition of the Hillman Minx with its newer type grille, rounded tail lights faired into mudguards and pull starter. On the right is the 1953 model Humber Super Snipe Mk. IV, with its new body style and OHV engine. The vehicle featured press button rotary door locks and the rear seat back rests curved to the doors.
