DescriptionThis chute delivered wool to awaiting workers at the Ipswich Woollen Mills. Workers would then use the dusting machine to clean the wool of impurities. After the wool was dusted it was sent to the sorting room in the Mills. These jobs were often performed by male employees as conditions were often hot and smelly. References (offline)D. Jansen, P.
