Wilkins Servis advertised as the ‘World’s Greatest Washing Machine’. Roy Thomas Edwards started his door to door electrical repair business with a bicycle and carrying his tools. His brothers Allan and Mervyn joined the business. The Company would go on to employ over 320 staff.
