DescriptionAt one time there were two band stands in Queens Park, owing to the popularity of band music in the Park on Saturday afternoons. Queens Park was the first park to be developed in Queensland. First surveyed by Henry Wade in 1842. In his design, Wade had set aside 80 acres and 32 perches for a reserve for Public Recreation and Botanic Gardens. The park was named after Queen Victoria.
