DescriptionMr Charles Schilsky was born in England and studied music in London, Berlin and Paris. From 1924 to 1929, he was the first violin teacher of the Elder Conservatorium and then became an Examiner for the Trinity College of Music, London, which saw him travel to many different countries. A talented musician and accomplished linguist, he was chosen as an Examiner for Queensland for the Trinity College of Music, London, and visited Ipswich many times for Music examinations.
