    By: Kathryn Rodgers8th Dec 2021 2:08PMJack Bowles was the Father of Ellen Bowles. He built many homes for Rosewoodites. Ellen affectionately known to Rosewoodites as Nell was in Charge of Book keeping at Cribb and Foote. She did not use a TV Microwave Oven Car or Computer. She retired before the age of 50. She was my lifelong friend. She loved sitting in her garden and lived to her late 80s. Ellen passed over about 2019. The Rosewood Uniting Church was full of admiring family and friends for her funeral. Mention was made of the jokes from the Queensland Times she always kept beside her much used and loved Telstra Landline.
    Ellen was a loving PEOPLE PERSON. She rang many Rosewoodites and other friends at Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Time. She was always extremely enthusiastic and loved to bless people. Peter and I made enjoyable calls to Nell.
