DescriptionJohn Elliott was president of the Ipswich Bowls Club 1925 to 1926. He was in charge of the woodwork section at the Ipswich Railway Workshops and general sectretary of the Queensland Railway Employees Association. He was a member of the Technical College committee, Ipswich Amateur Swim Centre, Ipswich Rotary Club, Ipswich Ambulance Brigade and treasurer of the Booval and District Amateur Cycling Club.
