By: Kathryn Rodgers8th Dec 2021 1:46PMMy friend Barbara married Jack Johnston. They had bright Children PETER MURRAY AND ALISON. Barbara ran JOHNSTONs DRAPERY inherited from her Parents.
Jack was President of Rosewood Swimming Club in 1976 when I and brother Shane Rodgers won many Trophies made by Harry Evans. HARRY AND PAM
lived adjacent to JOHNSTONs House in Albert St Rosewood.
Alison nee JOHNSTON ANDREW EVANS and myself were the ROSEWOOD STATE SCHOOL DEBATING TEAM taught well by English Teacher Geraldine Brown for APEX COMPETITION. In 1976 we won the Region at Year 10 level. Debates were held at Rosewood State School Downlands College TOOWOOMBA and Bardon Professional Development Centre. Many supportive ROSEWOODITES observed and encouraged. Our Parents were happy.
