DescriptionIn the Ipswich Municipal Council Rate book of 1868, Allotment 18 of Section 3 on the corner of Bremer & Nicholas Streets, belonged to James Reilly and still did in 1874 when the value had risen from 10 Pounds to 25 Pounds. The 1884 rate book gives Geo.H.Wilson as the owner & Valuation was 50 Pounds. A Produce business was carried on here and still is. Mr. C. Risson bought the business from the Wilson family. Once, down underneath the building, on big stone squares, the wool bales brought in by the bullock waggons, were stored while awaiting shipment down the river.
