Daniel Bradley worked at the Bremer Mill for a short time. The Brisbane Courier reported on Daniel's death on 12 October 1918 calling him 'one of the oldest residents of the Goodna district'.
The Queensland Times of 17 October 1918 wrote:
The deceased was a native of Sydney, and came to Queensland in the early days and settled in the Limestone district. For a while he worked at the Bremer Mills and later on he came to Redbank boiling down works, and settled in Goodna. For many years he followed up shearing and butchering. He was on the Goodna hospital staff, but for the past 16 years he had been living a retired life. Previous to the attack of lumbago, which was the cause of his death, the deceased had always enjoyed good health, and, despite the fact that he was past the allotted span of life, he being 77 years of age-he was a very active man. He leaves a widow and two sons-viz., Messrs. John and Daniel Bradley. The remains were interred in the lpswich cemetery on Sunday last.
