* "Here We Are Again", with commentary on the Punch's rivals: the Mercury and the Queensland Times
* A cartoon criticising the progress of the Liverpool Tunnel
* "Fragment from an Athenian Drama", featuring Peto, Brassey, Betts - railway contractors experiencing financial difficulties
* The continuing fallout from the recent Mayoral elections, featuring Richard III

* A cartoon of Bell Street, complete with bullock dray, driver, and policeman
* Woogaroo Conundrums
* College Rhymes
* A review on 'the only attempts at amusement' in the past month (it should come as no surprise that the Punch Club were not amused)

* Mr Simkins adventures in surveying
* Misbehaving Sunday School boys in Queens Park
* Wanted ads
* A note of congratulations to the Ipswich Municipal Council for the orderly manner in which they were conducting meetings
