DescriptionPart of the lease document for the office for Moreton Shire Council.
In 1946 the Council of the Shire of Moreton leased Subdivision land from Percy Herbert Keidge (Motor Garage Proprietor). The Lessor agreed to let to the Lessee who will take a lease of such part of that piece or parcel of land situate in the County of Stanley, Parish and Town of Ipswich, being 4 of allotments 4 and 5 of Section 22, as is enclosed by the red line on the first plan together with such part of the Shop Premises’ erected on the said part of the said piece of land as is enclosed by a red line on the second plan together with such easements as vest in the Lessor in respect of the said land TO HOLD the same for the period of THREE YEARS commencing on the First day of January One thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
The Lessee paid a rental of TWO POUNDS TEN SHILLINGS per week for the demised premises during the erm granted such rent to be paid monthly to the Lessor.
