DescriptionRM28 'Aunt Emma' railmotor at The Workshops Rail Museum in North Ipswich. Potentially during refurbishment.
RM28 was built at Ipswich Railway Workshops in 1928 and was affectionately dubbed “Aunt Emma” by the locals. It continued running until the tramway closed. In 1963 Aramac Council purchased RM28 second-hand from the Queensland Railways for the £100 to operate the passenger service. It remained in service on the Aramac Tramway until its closure.References (online)The Aramac Tramway, Queensland State Archives [Accessed 14 September, 2026]
