DescriptionMaybe in Rosewood. Police recruits including Edward James Quinlan, from Rosewood, served as a policeman at Beenleigh Police Station. He was from the Quinlan family of Rosewood who owned the Caledonian Hotel in Ipswich from 1925-1933. He married Mary Ellen Mullins in 1917. She was a teacher at Norwell State School.
