UniSQ Field Day Workshop 2024, Ipswich General Cemetery

For the first time since the partnership between Ipswich City Council and UniSQ commenced, the field day was done in two sessions. Session 1 included introductions to Council officers, an overview of the cemetery and resources, including Discover Ever After and Picture Ipswich and session 2 was the field day onsite. In 2024, the field day focused on the Roman Catholic C section of the Ipswich General Cemetery. Students selected four burial plots each and spent the day recording and measuring the headstones.
