By: Kathryn Rodgers27th Oct 2021 2:25PMSocial Worker Genevieve and Husband Dr Isbell lived at Gooloowan at least from the 1990s.
Bera Wilson was the wife of Dr Chester Wilson. Chester delivered me on the 15th OCT 1961. Bera asked Genevieve to train me for Voluntary Work with the IPSWICH CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU Referral Centre in 1988. Bera was the Co ordinator of the C.A.B. Genevieve taught Social Work skills including LISTENING for eight mornings to new volunteers. Genevieve and Bera were very smart and kind women.
I attended AN EVENING AT GOOLOOWAN in the 2000s and reconnected with friendly Genevieve. She made me feel like one of the family.
