DescriptionSt Patrick's Day performance of "Glanasheen", a three-act Irish comedy written by Cecil Clark and produced by Joe Treagle.

'The story centred on the Doran and Molloy families, which become united when Mrs. Doran (Lyla McGurie) "gently" persuades Councillor Mat Molloy (Les Hourigan) to marry her; also the romance which develops between Eileen Doran (Clare Kent) and handsome young American seaman (Phillip Seymour) who visits "Glanasheen" in search of hidden treasure.'References (online)"Glanasheen" was Great Success, Queensland Times, Friday 18th March 1949, p.2
