DescriptionIn 1920, the Prince of Wales, future King Edward VII and eventual Duke of Windsor, toured Ipswich for a Royal visit. He visited Queens Park and, in this image, Ipswich Station to see his Honour Guard.

The Queenslander published a copy of this image in 1934 in an article titled 'Recollections of Previous Royal Visits to Queensland' and gives the date of the image as Saturday the 31st of July 1920.
