Shaping Our Identity: Homewares & Furnishings
Description
Photography was a relative new invention during this period. Interior photographs were limited to studios with large windows that provided enough natural light to enter the room to reveal the subject. The few images we have of homewares and furnishings from this period are all from the photographic studios of Biggingee Sorabjee Poochee and other early Ipswich photographers.
We are still developing content for Defining Tulmur | Ipswich, a Picture Ipswich interpretive experience.
