I feel it is popular now.I mentioned that to Shane at our 2022 Christmas Eve Family gathering and he was thrilled to hear it. We met in Ipswich that day. Shane organized many of us to meet very well.

By: Kathryn Rodgers24th Nov 2021 2:15PMDaphne Irene Rodgers nee Forrester after completing School studied at the University of Queensland through the Ipswich Technical College. She was later asked to be in charge of the Office Staff there but married Edwin Bevan Rodgers in December 1960. A married woman could not work for the Government at that time.
She had worked at the State Government Insurance Office SGIO in Ipswich. She was well liked there probably because of her kindness in finishing her own work then doing the work of other Staff for them.
Daphnes good friends Wendy and Ted Sellars employed Daphne MUM to clean their new Brick house in Makepeace St from 1979 to 1981. Daphne gave me the money earned when I was studying to achieve my Diploma of Teaching Primary. I could study free of fees because I was given a Teaching Bursary.
She was a very loving Mother.
She also did much voluntary work for Rosewoodites including Meals on Wheels led by her friend Joyce Rieck.
