DescriptionAll Saints Anglican Church was originally constructed on Gerber's Hill, where Seminary Road meets the Warrego Highway.
The land for the church and for an accompanying burial ground was donated by Thomas Lorimer Smith of Woodlands in the late 19th century.
The church opened and was consecrated in 1891 by the Bishop of Brisbane, Reverend William Webber, and the burial ground was consecrated by Rev Webber in 1892.
By the mid 20th century, the parishioners of the church were discussing moving the church from the hill into the town proper.
In 1956, the parishioners of Marburg bought land at 111 Queen Street to eventually settle the church.
In 1959, a hall was completed on the land in Queen Street.
In 1977, some of the land originally donated by T. S. Smith for the church was resumed by the government in order to construct the Warrego Highway. The final church service in the original location was held on 22nd May, 1977.
In March 1978, the church was relocated by local business The House Removalist and installed in Queen Street. In October 1978, the church was reopened with a service conducted by Reverend John Magee.
