DescriptionRobert Wilkinson was born in England and worked for a time in a cotton factory, before arriving with his family in Franklyn Vale in 1845. Later in that year, Robert and his family relocated to Ipswich. Robert had several occupations, including hotel and store keeper and he ran a boarding house. He lived with his wife Mary (nee Farrell) at 'Emscliffe House, Waghorn Street, Denmark HIll.
