DescriptionThe house at 100 Chermside Road, East Ipswich, was called 'Baile Mor' in 2007.
'Baile Mor' was built between 1890-1910 by Arthur Foote.
Arthur Foote was born in Compton Pauncefoot, Somerset, on the 3rd August 1850. In 1895, he established Foote's Joinery Business in Ipswich.
After Arthur Foote's death ion 1923, his son, Loftus Foote, took over the family business while living in 'Baile Mor'. He and his wife built an additional room to the house and enclosed some sections of verandah.References (offline)'Heritage Place; Baile Mor' Plaque, Ipswich City Council
