DescriptionThe new school was opened on its present site at Louisa and School Streets, Marburg in 1922. These buildings were erected in 1922, ten years after the Queensland Railways had reclaimed part of the original grounds for the Rosewood-Marburg Railway line. At that time additional land on the western slope behind the original school was given in place of the reclaimed level school grounds. This playing field was steep and soon was badly eroded, so after 10 years new land was obtained for school purposes. The new block was originally part of Dobson's selection.References (offline)Rosewood Scrub Historical Society
