Californian Bungalows
Description
History
Local architect Wil Haenke introduced the Californian Bungalow style house to Ipswich.
Haenke’s brother Martin, also an architect, worked in San Francisco and is said to have sent home magazines reporting on American architectural developments, leading Wil Haenke to introduce the style to Ipswich.
