Bremer Institute of TAFE
Established originally as 6 campuses in 1891 (Bundamba, Goodna, Ipswich, Inala, Springfield and Boonah), the Bremer Institute of TAFE was one of Queensland's first technical and further education facilities offering courses in mechanical drawing, geology, bookkeeping, languages, and history of the British Empire.
During World War II a number of Queensland campuses including Ipswich opened as training facilities for munition workers and technicians for men and women joining the Army and Air Force.
