DescriptionElizabeth Wheeler (nee Perkins) (1824-1886), was the granddaughter of Rev. Griffith Williams. She married Dr Daniel Wheeler. She was the mother of Lillah Constance Wheeler (c.1865-1959) who married Dr James Atkin Wheeler (1861-1939).Additional Information Image qips-2022-10-17-0011 is a Wheeler family portrait of (left to right) Louisa Florence Wheeler (1861-1955), Elizabeth Wheeler (nee Perkins) (1824-1886), Lillah Constance Wheeler (1863 - 1959) and was taken by the Edouard Nickels photography studio, which had the address of Duke Street, Chelmsford, United Kingdom.
Image qips-2022-10-18-0009 was taken by the Mayall & Co. photography studio owned by J.E. Mayall (John Jabez Edwin Mayall (1813-1901)) and is dated 24th July 1882.
Image qips-2022-10-17-0008 was also taken by J.E. Mayall of Mayall & Co. photography studio and seems to have been taken in the same sitting as image qips-2022-10-18-0009.
The United Kingdom site called The National Archives quotes 'Michael Pritchard's A Directory of London Photographers 1841-1908' as saying that 'Mayall and Co were at 126 Piccadilly from 1897 till after 1908.'
