The child is Arthur Roy Foote, marching alongside his grandfather, Arthur George Foote, who worked as the cashier at Cribb and Foote (not related to the owners). His father was Arthur Foote, founder of the firm Arthur Foote Joinery Pty Ltd at Lowry Street, North Ipswich. The flags are of St. George as Arthur Foote Senior was the founder of the Society of St. George in Ipswich.
