DescriptionThe Railway Workshops were first opened in 1864. During its peak, over 3,000 people worked there and over 200 steam locomotives were constructed on site. The Workshops Rail Museum, a campus of the Queensland Museum, was opened in 2002. This image appears to show locomotives and wagons on tracks outside the Steam and Wagon and Carriage Shops.
